A wonderful stay in a hotel that has history in every step but has a very modern take on service and relaxation , firstly we had the amazing staff who were friendly and professional from the first check in through to the restuarant and bar staff to the cleaners who kept our room spotless , the room itself was warm and cosy with a great bed and a very modern ensuite , the bakelite phone and old fashioned radio on the dresser was a great touch harking back to the Victorian era when the hotel was built on the Nairn Riviera, the location makes this hotel stand out with views across the Firth and the grounds that have a path that takes you directly onto the path above the beach that leads you into the centre of town, we used the conservatory for breakfast every morning and that was a great way to start the day with a great selection of cooked breakfasts and the usual continental treats all backed up by the fantastic view across the water .We used the excellent spa facilities for a massage and then a relaxing afternoon in the pool, sauna and steam room , all impressively clean and very modern and enjoyable. Very recommended and we will be coming up again next year for another weekend of relaxation

Wow! Had a night away in mid October, from Friday into a Saturday, at this beautiful hotel. This place excelled as soon as we arrived. It's a lovely setting, coming down the approach road with a view out onto the Moray Firth. In to the reception, which has a very informal and inviting feel. Katie, who greeted us, is perfect for such a role as she was informative, friendly and engaging - thank you. Unfortunately we never got the names of any other staff members but all of them went about their jobs with a smile on their faces, very relaxed and friendly. We had an evening meal in the conservatory, accompanied by the stunning views, and couldn't find fault with the food, which was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Our Sea View room was amazing - spacious and spotlessly clean. Loved the small details - the biscuits, ground coffee and bottled water. Breakfast in the conservatory again - continental then a hot course. The former was a real treat. Sometimes buffet type meals can be a pile-em-high affair, this certainly wasn't - individual pots of yoghurt, small bowls of fruit, a bread and cheese counter. Absolutely delicious. The hot course was just as nice and very filling. The grounds and exterior of the building both looked like they were well looked after and gave a very good account of themselves too! Lovely walk into Nairn itself, beautiful surroundings, nothing not to like. We're already planning our next visit, wouldn't hesitate to come back here again and again. Thank you one and all for a very pleasurable stay.

Such a beautiful place. I visited the spa and it was sensational. From start to finish I had an amazing experience. After searching for a good spa this was exactly what I needed, the lunch food menu was fantastic, so many options I was spoilt for choice. My only 2 wishes would be a drink was included in the lunch package as food is included but no drinks which I did find odd however more than happy to pay for a drink. It was definitely worth it. The other wish would be a different locker system, it was difficult to operate ( another group of women also had same issues with lockers) and they were also quite small. However this is totally nitpicking because the spa made it for it 100% The outdoor hot tub was definitely my favourite with the sea view ! And the indoor pool was fabulous. If I am ever visiting the highlands again, I’ll definitely be back !

What a fabulous 2 day stay we had.. 5 girl friends from Aberdeen... We had one night a spa package and one normal stay. Spa facilities lovely and clean, as were treatments and therapists. Food and service was lovely.. Especially the young staff in bar restaurant. So friendly, chatty and helpful .. Will definitely be back.. Only negative is we had a room of 3.. All paying for spa package yet only one Temple Spa box in room ??. Not sure if this was an error. Should be one per room or per person .. But if 3 or 2 sharing who gets it?? We all paid the same price..

Really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Golf View Hotel. Super room with very comfortable bed. Great location, right by the beach. The spa and swimming pool are excellent and there is an outdoor hot tub. Just the job if you fancy a quick dip in the sea! Hotel is dog friendly. Staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially the lady on reception. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

I really loved this hotel. Right on the shore with a snow blizzard. Was a good refuge for the night. Bed and room were cozy and comfy. My only criticism would be the dining areas and lounges were cold and no fires lit when there was clearly a working fireplace. The heaters were on but not that warm. For a -2 blizzard and artic blast it would have been nice to enjoy the hotel a bit more and have a few wines in the bar, but instead retreated to our room where it was warm enough to relax. Some extra thought needs to go into guest comfort and what returns it produces in terms of bar takings as the hotel was quite full with people sheltering from the blizzard. Some windows/frame replacement would go a long way into conserving heat and power in this very draughty hotel.

A relaxing stay at the Golf View Hotel. The coastal views are breathtaking, and the rooms are very comfortable. We especially appreciated the attentive and professional staff, who made our break so relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic spa facilities, which were a perfect way to unwind. And a special mention for the delicious breakfast

Delicious lunch with delightful service - can’t recommend highly enough. Visited for Sunday lunch which was served in Hickory Bar as we had our dog with us. Food was plentiful and beautifully cooked and presented. Service was professional and entertaining provided by Antonio and Connor under the supervision of OPs Manager Johnny. We enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere so much we are planning a break at the hotel in the near future.
